Latvian composer. Was an organist for a long time in the church of St. Albert in Riga and the professor of liturgical music in the Major Seminary of Riga. Has a lot of proper compositions and harmonizations of different genre of sacred music. The "Missa in honorem B. M. V. de Aglona" and "Te Deum laudamus" are especially majestic.
