Latvian.png Latvian text

1. Ja visi Tevi atstātu, es Tevi neatstāšu!
Mans Pestītāj, kur iesi Tu, es visur līdzi iešu.

2. Uz Kalvariju iešu es ar Tevi, Jēzu Kristu,
ja arī mani pasaule pie krusta koka sistu.

English.png English translation

1. Though all should desert you, I will not.
Wherever you go, my redeemer, I shall go too.

2. I shall go to Calvary with you, Jesus Christ,
Even if the world were to crucify me too.

3. It is not in search of bliss that I shall follow you
But in order to be united with you in your suffering.

4. What are earthly honour and pomp, if the redeemer is not there?
My joy and the bliss of light are to be found at the feet of the crucified one.

5. Lord Jesus, lead me on the paths of this world,
And take me to the Father's house when my legs are too weary to walk.
