Latin text Veni, rogo, in cor meum, et ab ubertate voluptatis tuae inebria illud, ut obliviscar ista temporalia. Adjuva me, Domine, Deus meus, et da laetitiam in corde meo, veni ad me, ut videam te.

English translation Come, I ask, into my heart, and with the richness of your pleasure drench it, so that I forget worldly things. Help me, O Lord my God, and give me joy in my heart, Come to me, that I may see thee. Translation by James Gibb
