Quando ch'el gallo canta inanti'el dì, cucurucu, La mia signora fa chiamar Martin, ch'el vegna su. Caro Martin... 3. Quando Martin su'l letto gionto fu a lei vicin, Alzò la testa e sott'intrò con lei nel bel confin. Caro Martin...

German translation 1. Wenn abends die Grille singt, die schöne Grille,, lässt meine Herrin Martin rufen, den schönen Martin. Lieber Martin, tanze, Martin, springe, Martin, singe, Martin, Fa-ni-nun, ne-na, Teure Madonna, was habe ich mir angetan! 2. Wenn der Hahn singt vor Tag, cucurucu, lässt meine Herrin Martin rufen, dass er hochkommen solle. Lieber Martin... 3.
