Italian text O vaghi et amorosi augelletti Che cantando ne gite dolcemente Con si soavi accenti, Che’l ciel di gioia gode alteramente, Venite, leggiadretti, Udite i cari suoi dolci lamenti Che la celeste dea in habito gentile, In vista honesta e humile, L’alma Pantesilea, Scesa dal ciel, da l’alta Hierarchia, Forma con man divina e voce pia.

German translation Oh anmutige und liebliche Vöglein, die ihr süß singend umherfliegt mit solch snften Kängen, dass der Himmel vor Freude hochgemut jauchzt, kommt, ihr Niedlichen, hört die feinen süßen Klagen, die die himmlische Göttin in edlem Gewand, mit ehrbarem und schlichtem Aussehen, die erhabene Penthesilea, herabgestiegen vom Himmel, der hohen Hierarchie, mit göttlicher Hand und liebreicher Stimme formt.
