Description: The first half of this collection consists of three-part madrigals by Jhan Gero, while the second half consists of three-part chansons by various composers. The table of contents attributes all of the chansons to Clément Janequin, but other sources show this is not true. Despite its name, this collection only contains one work by Costanzo Festa. This collection was reprinted in 1543, without two of the works found in the original (including the one Festa work), and with the name changed to remove Festa as the author.
