Latin text Girum caeli circuivi sola, et in fluctibus maris ambulavi, in omni gente et in omni populo primatum tenui, superborum et sublimium colla propria virtute calcavi. Ego in altissimis habito, et thronus meus in columna nubis, superborum et sublimium colla propria virtute calcavi.

English translation I alone have circled the vault of heaven, and I have walked on the waves of the sea. In every nation and in every people I have held the first place. By my own power I have trampled the proud and the lofty necks. I dwell in the highest places, and my throne is in the pillar of cloud. By my own power I have trampled the proud and the lofty necks.
