Io vorrei pur lodarti signor
ma tosto ch'io movo la lingua
par che nel cor s'estingua
per riverenza quell' estrem' ardore
ch'io ho di farti honore.

Pur riprendo vigore
quand' a tue illustre
e sante virtú penso onde
di dolc' e pura fiamm' accenso
grido il reverendissimo Pisano
divino e non humano.
