Biography
There seems to be almost nothing known about this composer. There is a mention of him in Philippe Renouard’s Imprimeurs et Libraires Parisiens du XVIe siècle, Paris 1969, that reads: “Dorle (Gilles, alias Guillaume), compositeur, chantre à la Sainte-Chapelle”. In Attaingnant's XII Motetz Musicaulx, he is listed only as Dorle, with no first name.
