Description: First published in The Christian's Harp, Edition 2?, 1835, the first edition to have an appendix. Words by Isaac Watts, 1709, Hymn 28 of Book 2, with six (C. M.) stanzas. Wakefield used the first two stanzas as one (C. M. D.) stanza in his composition.
