Description: Source: MS GB-Lbl Royal Appendix 26-30. The manuscript contains two versions of the same piece, but the first version can only be aligned correctly by deleting four notes from the cantus firmus part, a part which is otherwise identical for the two versions. The implication seems to be that the composer himself overlooked the four notes when composing the first version; there is nothing in the manuscript to warn users that the piece is unsingable as it stands. No doubt the second version was composed in order to overcome the problem created by the first.
