In the current Roman Rite the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is celebrated on September 14th. Some Anglicans and Lutherans know the date as Holy Cross Day. Before 1960 there was also a feast on May 3rd, the Invention (Finding) of the Holy Cross. Other dates are observed in the East.
