This is the User talk page for Tim Risher, in case you are wondering! I compose original pieces, and I have also edited several works, including pieces by: Johann Micheal Bach, Antoine Brumel, Johann Kugelmann, Leonel Power,Francesco Usper.

Welcome

Hi and welcome to CPDL! (I assume you are Tim Risher). We are pleased to see you are posting some of your works at ChoralWiki. There is an issue that has been raised over the copyright situation regarding Your mighty word, which you will find mentioned on its discussion page. Would you please check that discussion page and reply to help clarify things? You may reply there, here, or to me. By the way, I've played through some of your works already and find them quite nice. Thanks! – Chucktalk Giffen 15:33, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your hello, and I'm glad you like my pieces! I have changed those little things on my page. I apparently just put in the date, and wasn't thinking about the real copyright date! by the way, if my piece has instrumental parts (like this piece, which uses two trumpets), do I post them with the piece, or can I leave an e-mail address somehow so people can contact me, so I can send them parts? Thanks! Flivelwitz 18:34, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Hi Tim. You can either upload and make the instrumental parts available online here at ChoralWiki, or you can post a contact e-mail address. If you do the former, simply add them to the works pages (no separate edition numbers necessary). Best. – Chucktalk Giffen 21:08, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

O Lord My God (Pelham Humfrey - William Boyce)

Hi and thanks for your many editions! I see that by putting O Lord my God (Pelham Humfrey - William Boyce) and O Lord My God (Pelham Humfrey) (O Lord my God (Pelham Humfrey)) on separate pages you've avoided the usual CPDL messiness of various voicings in the general info: section, and maybe merging them would not be the best thing in the world. Surely they must be linked, though! This could be done in the description field, unless you have a better idea. All the best, Richard Mix 00:07, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your comment! I will think about how to link them; your idea would be the best, as it doesn't get in the way. I will see if the description makes it perfectly clear that these are actually the same piece, just in a different arrangement. Flivelwitz 07:10, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
Hello Tim. I have just been spending a rather soggy Diamond Jubilee Bank holiday adding the three volumes of Dr. Boyce's Essential Cathedral Music to the Music Publications category, and putting in as many cross links as possible. Working through Volume 2 I came across your work on O Lord my God. I hope you don't mind, but I have implemented the cross-linking suggested by Richard (above), and tidied up the Pelham Humfrey page. Comments please! Peter Gibson 11:16, 5 June 2012 (CDT)
