English text
Upon this lovely Christmas morning,
We come forth our friends to cheer.
In the East, the star is beaming;
Lo! We've found our Saviour near.
Oh we love to spread the tidings,
That will gladden every heart,
That with him we may be rising,
In his suffering we have a part.
Hark! I hear the angles singing,
Peace! Peace on earth, good will to all.
