Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, Hensley graduated in 1846 as Senior Wrangler and first Smith’s Prizeman. From 1846-52, he was a Fellow and Assistant Tutor at Trinity College. Biography
Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, Hensley graduated in 1846 as Senior Wrangler (1st in the Mathematics Tripos) and first Smith’s Prizeman. From 1846-52, he was a Fellow and Assistant Tutor at Trinity College. He took Holy Orders in 1851, and served as Curate at Upton-with-Clavey, Bucks; Vicar of Ippolyts-with-Great-Wymondley, Hertfordshire; Vicar of Hitchin, Hertfordshire; and Rural Dean, 1867.
