Jayme par amours la belle au cler visage,
Elle est belle et saige,
faicte de cor saige,
et plaisante a tous mais ung faulx langaige,
luy porte grand domaige.

English translation

I prefer a lover with a lightsome guise,
For she is fair and wise,
And quite the shapely prize,
A joy to all, but suffer any lies,
And her reputation dies.
