Latin.png Latin text

Hic est dies præclarus,
in quo salvator mundi apparuit,
quem prophetae prædixerunt;
angeli adoraverunt
cuius stellam magi videntes gavisi sunt
et munera ei obtulerunt.

English.png English translation

This is that renowned day,
on which the saviour of the world appeared,
as the prophets had foretold;
the angels worshipped him,
seeing whose star the wise men rejoiced,
and bore him gifts.
