Latin text Vérbum iníquum et dolósum lónge fac a me, Dómine: Divítias et paupertátes ne déderis míhi, sed tántum víctui méo tríbue necessária. Dúo rogávi, ne déneges míhi ántequam móriar: Divítias et paupertátes ne déderis míhi, sed tántum víctui méo tríbue necessária.

English translation An unjust and deceitful word remove far from me, O Lord: Riches and poverty give me not, but enough for my sustenance, grant the necessities. Two things I have asked; do not deny me before I die: Riches and poverty give me not, but enough for my sustenance, grant the necessities.
