Venit vox de caelo
cum luce superna
dicens: Saule, Saule
Quid me persequeris?
Durum est tibi
contra stimulum calcitrare
Respondit miles
Quis es tu, Domine?
Et vox desuper ait
Ego sum Jesus
quem tu persequeris

English.png English translation

A voice came from heaven
with a divine light
saying "Saul, Saul"
Why do you persecute me?
It is hard for you
to kick against the goad.
The soldier responded
"Who are you, Lord?"
And a voice from above said
"I am Jesus,
whom you are persecuting"
