English text
Hark!
The wild uproar of the winds!
Hell's genius roams the regions of the dark,
And thund'ring swells the horrors of the main.
From cloud to cloud the moon affrighted flies,
now darken'd and now flashing,
And now flashing through the skies.
Alas!
Bless'd calm, return again!
