Latin text Sum servus domini et felix athleta potentis  accedo et vates haec sacra verba cano. Respice vaticinor dii sic statuere futurum  Romani imperii et caput esse tui. Ad te nam populi vertunt se animisque parati  Iam capiti imponunt iam tria serta tuo. Pelle ergo ingentes prestantie pectore curas  atque voca hos suplex ad tua vota deos. Pastor sic Christi nutu qui torquet Olimpum  ac gentes quarum est pectore lucis amor. Cantus firmus: N. sacerdos magnus

English translation I am the servant of the Lord and a fortunate champion of the mighty one.  I come as a seer, singing holy words. Behold, I bring you tidings of how the gods (ie. God and the saints) have decided the future,  assigning you the supreme seat in the Roman Empire. (ie. Christendom, as represented by the Catholic Church) For the peoples turn to you and, with a ready spirit,  they place on your head a triple wreath. (ie. the Pope’s tiara) Shake off from your admirable heart your heavy cares,  and seek the aid of the gods through your prayers. Thus, you will be the shepherd of Christ, who, as he sees fit, rules both Olympus (ie. Heaven)  and the peoples of the earth whose hearts are imbued with love of the light. (ie. Christ (John 8:12)) Cantus firmus: (Name) The High Priest (ie. the Pope) German translation Ich bin der Diener des Herrn und beglückter Kämpfer des Starken,  komme als Seher herbei, heilige Worte ich sing'. Sieh, ich verkündige Dir, wie die Götter die Zukunft beschlossen, Götter: Gott und die Heiligen  und dass des Römischen Reichs oberste Stelle sei Dein. Röm.Reich: Katholisches Christentum Denn Dir wenden sich zu die Völker und willig im Geiste  setzen sie nun auf Dein Haupt dreifach gewundenen Kranz. Tiara Treibe daher aus vortrefflichem Herz die gewaltigen Sorgen,  rufe mit Deinem Gebet flehend die Götter uns an.
