Finnish text Oi herää armas, kuule lauluni, mi hiljaa hiipii ruusukammioon, soi soinnut sieluusi, kun katseesi luot iltakaihon kultakuutamoon. Kuu valaa siltaa taivahan ja maan, se ikitoivon, maisen onnen luo, kun sulle tähdet syttyy tarhoissaan, ja iltakasteen lemmenkukka juo. Se kohoo taivaan tulikukkasiin, oi kuule, armas, illan laulajaa ja uinu sydämeni säveliin, kun taivas valvoo, nukkuu öinen maa!

English translation Oh, wake up, my love, hear my song, which quietly creeps into the rose chamber, the chords ring in your soul, when your gaze locks into the golden moonlight of evening melancholy. The moon casts a bridge between heaven and earth, it leads to eternal hope, to earthly happiness, when the stars light up for you in its gardens, and the love flower drinks the evening dew. It rises to the fiery flowers of heaven, oh, hear, my love, the singer of the evening and drift off to the tunes of my heart, when the sky watches, the nightly earth sleeps!
