Description: A transcription of the opening chorus from Act IV of Lully's opera "Isis". The text should be sung in such a way that the vowels are re-articulated for repeated eighth notes, resembling stuttering from extreme cold. Original orchestration would include "violons", the full string ensemble, for the prelude, and continuo instruments such as harpsichord to accompany the voices.
