Io son ferito è chi mi punse il core,
ha ne begli occhi Amore,
ch'indi mi scritte al cor' sia la tua stella,
nel Mar de tuoi martir LAVINIA bella.

Mill'a ventommi all' hor pungenti dardi,
LAVINIA con suoi sguardi,
ma se ferirme gl'occhi tanta gioia,
mi porse'il duol, ch'ancor non vuol, ch'io moia.

Fu'il lacci onde fui avinto, si ch'io moro,
di LAVINIA il crin d'oro,
quando io prima mirai l'alma sua luce,
c'hor chiara hor brun'à pianger mi conduce.

LIVINIA è quest'è la CiTAREA,
ch'in terr'ancid'e bea,
ch'e sella canta il plettro mov'e ride,
avviva ogn'altro e me sol lasso ancide.
