Biography
Henri Constant Gabriel Pierné was a successful French organist, conductor, and composer. He served many years as organist at Sainte-Clotilde Basilica in Paris and a conductor with the Concerts Colonne. He was organist for the first performance of Igor Stravinsky’s ballet The Firebird, at the Ballets Russes, Paris.
