Latin text 21b  Improperium exspectavit cor meum et miseriam: et sustinui qui simul contristaretur, et non fuit; et qui consolaretur, et non inveni. 22  Et dederunt in escam meam fel, et in siti mea potaverunt me aceto.

English translation 21b  I looked for some to have pity on me, but there was no man, neither found I any to comfort me. 22  They gave me gall to eat: and when I was thirsty they gave me vinegar to drink.
