Arvid Grøtting has no formal music education; rather, he has a degree in computer science.

Background

Grøtting started singing in choirs in 1995, joined Den norske Studentersangforening in 1996 and has been singing there ever since. Frustrated with the quality of some of the available sheet music, he started producing his own editions with Lilypond in the late 1990s. Most of these are available at Den norske Studentersangforening's sheet music page.
