French text (modernised) Un peu plus haut, un peu plus bas, mon ami je vous prie. L'autre jour m'allaie en nostre jardinet; Trouvai en mi ma voie Mon ami Robinet, Lequel m'a pris à grand souhait sans nulle fâcherie. Je lui ai dit de cœeur de hait: "Accollez vostre amie". Un peu plus haut, un peu plus bas,mon ami je vous prie.

English translation A bit higher, a bit lower, please mate. So the other day I was going to our garden, And on the way there, I bump into my mate Robbie, (Who well excites me - no messing!).
