French text Plaisir n'ay plus, mais vis en desconfort, Fortune m'a osté ma dame de valeur, L'heur que j'avoys est tournée en malheur, Malheureux suis, sy n'ay aultre confort.

English translation No pleasure have I, but live in distress, Fortune has taken my pearl from me, The luck I knew once has turned miserly, Wretched I’ll be without a new caress. Translation by Thomas Daughton
