French text Ie changeray quoy qui men deust advenir, car nullement ne veulx entretenir celle qui nest en amour raisonnable, et toutteffois d'ung vouloir immuable ne demandois qu'a elle parvenir, mais quant ie voir son cueur si variable ie changeray quoy que men doibt advenir. Modern French Je changerai quoi qu'il m'arrive car je ne veux nullement entretenir celle qui n'est en amour raisonnable et toutefois d'une volonté immuable je ne demande qu' à la satisfaire, mais quand je vois son coeur si variable, je changerai quoi qu'il m'arrive.

English translation I will go for another, come what may I do not longer want to entertain the one who has no reason in love. Yet I have this yearning within me that pushes me to please her. But seeing her heart so often change its mind, I will go for another, come what may.
