Casta novenarum iacet aula subacta sororum,
sunt mulae Musae nostraque fama fames.
Vulgus amat fatuos vates, quia noscere nescit,
nullus honor Musis nunc nisi restat onus.
Plebs furit in Musas, regnat pro lege libido,
sunt mulae Musae nostraque fama fames.

English translation

The palace of the nine sisters lies razed to the ground. Mules are now the Muses and hunger is our celebrity. The people love fools, because they do not know how to know, there is no honour for the Muses now unless it remains a burden.The people rant at the muses, lust reigns in place of the law.
