Edition notes: The order of parts in the source is Tenor - [Alto] - Air - [Bass], with both the Tenor and Alto parts printed in the treble clef an octave above sounding pitch. Only the first verse and refrain of the text are underlaid in the source: three other verses have been added editorially. The soprano B and tenor G on beat 1 of bar 9 are printed as small quaver grace notes in the original.
