Kings 8 vv 27-30
Will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? Behold the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain Thee; how much less this house which we have builded?
Yet have Thou respect unto the prayer of Thy servants, and to their supplication, O Lord, our God, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which Thy servants pray before Thee today.
That Thine eyes may be open upon this house night and day:…
Hearken Thou to the supplication of Thy servants. Hear Thou from Thy dwelling place, even from heaven; and when Thou hearest, forgive.
