English text
- When others sing Venite exultemus,
- Stand by and turn to Noli aemulari,
- For Quare fremuerunt use Oremus;
- Vivat Eliza for an Ave Maria,
- And teach those swains that live about thy cell,
- To say Amen when thou dost pray so well.
