1  Wenn Gott einmal erlösen wird,
die aus Zion sind weggeführt,
und die Gefangnen machen los,
wie wird da sein die Freud so groß.

2  Man wird in Sprüngen gehn herein,
des Rühmens wird kein Ende sein,
man wird den Heiden sagen an:
Seht, was der Herr an uns getan.

3  Der Herr hat Guts an uns getan,
des freuet sich ein jedermann,
wir sind fröhlich in unserm Gott,
der uns errett aus aller Not.

5  All, die mit Tränen säen aus,
kommen mit Freud wiedrum nach Haus,
wenn ihnen deine Güt und Gnad
fröhliche Ernt bescheret hat.

6  Mit Tränen wird das Feld gedüngt,
das doch so edlen Samen bringt,
drauf man hernach mit frohem Mut
sammelt des Lebens Garben gut.
