Redemisti nos Domine Deus in sanguine tuo

Translation by Gerhard Weydt
English.png English translation

I saw a great throng which no man could number,
of all nations, standing before the throne, and all the
angels stood round about the throne and fell down
before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God.

Thou hast redeemed us, God our Lord, by thine blood
from all tribes, tongues, peoples and nations,
and hast made us our God’s kingdom.
Bless the Lord, all his elect,
keep days of joy and acknowledge him.
