Venite Amanti a rimirar costei
ch'ascosa tien fra le sue chiome d'oro
fiamme, caten'e dardi ond' io mi moro.

Ma non mirate molto il suo bel viso,
che tosto fà, s'avien ch'altri la miri,
strugger, languir, penar, sparger sospiri.

Mirate occhi con furtivi sguardi,
che s'altramente fate io il so per prova,
ferito insano, fano e cieco altri si trova.

Viste le sue bellezz'al fin fuggite,
che s'alcun ferma per vederla il passo,
dolce si sente trasformare in sasso.
