Life

Born: c. 1500, Brescia

Died: 1565, Rome

Biography Valerio Dorico was a printer and publisher based in Rome. In the 1520s, he worked as a printer, printing several books with Giovanni Giacomo Pasotti for Jacopo Giunta. After 1530, he became a publisher in his own right. From the 1540s until his death, he published in partnership with his brother Luigi. Their heirs carried on the family business until 1572.
