Hi Lewis! Thanks for this new edition. We already had a page for Giovanni Battista Stefanini‎ (with a single f, following the Grove Dictionary), so I took the liberty to merge the page you created with it. All the best, —Carlos (talk) 20:17, 28 September 2015 (UTC)

A beautiful edition, thanks! I was a little tempted to move the page to Missa a 10 (Luis Vicente Gargallo) but you may have given this more thought than I have: the BNC cataloger uses 1 s (Catelan maybe? how then would sine nomine go?) but elsewhere 2 s's. I realize  that the NG worklist might not be complete, but would disambiguation from a (named?) mass a 10vv needed? Spande ancor a mio dispetto

Hi Lewis, I saw you posted Handel's 'Spande ancor a mio dispetto' today. Could you also post a midi file for this work? Would be really nice! --BjoernsothmannTalk Email 19:41, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

I saw that you also uploaded a 'Laudate Dominum omnes gentes' by Monteverdi. You claim that it is from 'Selva morale'. However, as far as I know, this collection does not contain a setting of this text for Bass and Basso continuo. Can you give any further hints about this work? --BjoernsothmannTalk Email 19:51, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Another wish... could you post the midi file for the 'Laudata Dominum' as well? Thanks in advance! --BjoernsothmannTalk Email 06:34, 29 May 2010 (UTC)

Domine, non sum dignus

Dear Lewis,

Just a small point about one of your file links - your edition of Domine, non sum dignus of Victoria takes one to a PDF of the wrong piece... Can this be amended, if at all possible? Many thanks for your low-pitch editions - I specialise in producing them myself, and am very keen to make sure the original clefs reflect this! With all best wishes, Edward Tambling 16:51, 24 July 2011 (CDT)

Concerti 1587 by Andrea and Giovanni Gabrieli

Hi Lewis, I uploaded an edition of the whole collection of Concerti 1587 by Sabine Cassola and Bruno Schiffels, and I created a list of works in the collection to facilitate the creation of individual work pages. I noticed that you're also uploading your editions of the same works, so some work pages had been created by you already. Let's just coordinate and avoid that the same work has two different pages because we use slightly different titles. Please feel free to correct any misalignments of this type that may occur. Giovanni Bassano

Hi Lewis, thank you for the new additions! If you don't mind, I'll reorganize the page a bit, keeping the current sequence of works inside the publication Concerti Ecclesiastici, but in alphabetical order in the composer page, ok? Another suggestion: what about adding the number of parts in the title only when necessary to disambiguate between similar works? This is what is usually done for other composers. Regards, —Carlos Email.gif 23:35, 30 June 2012 (CDT)

Hi, thanks for your quick reply. I just saw the Andrea Gabrieli page and I believe it requires a similar tidy-up too; the alphabetical order is usually preferred on the composer page for easy of navigation, while in the Publication page may be used the order as originally appeared in the index. As for keeping the part numbers in titles, no problem then! Regards, —Carlos Email.gif 00:15, 1 July 2012 (CDT)

Misa (sine nomine) a 10 (Luis Vicente Gargallo)

A beautiful edition, thanks! I was a little tempted to move the page to Missa a 10 (Luis Vicente Gargallo) but you may have given this more thought than I have: the BNC cataloger uses 1 s (Catelan maybe? how then would sine nomine go?) but elsewhere 2 s's. I realize that the NG worklist might not be complete, but would disambiguation from a (named?) mass a 10vv needed? Curiously ;-), Richard Mix (talk) 02:58, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
