My editions

My work for the CPDL is entirely typesetting; I am not a professional editor of music, but rather, I make occasional comments on my editions to the end that performances may be enhanced without detracting from the composer's published intentions. I aim for my editions to be of the highest possible quality in terms of being technically correct (right pitch and rhythm of notes, etc.) and to be as clear as possible for singers and accompanist (if there is one). If you have noticed any mistakes, please contact me on the above address and I will endeavour to correct them.

I am currently working to bring the following works to CPDL (in priority order):

  1. Give unto the Lord, Psalm XXIX (Edward Elgar) (in progress)
  2. Serenade (Edward Elgar)
  3. Remainder of Stanford's complete service in G, Op. 81
  4. Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in A (Charles Villiers Stanford)

Education

Background

I'm a student in the UK. My main preoccupations are eating, sleeping, drinking, singing, and occasionally doing editions for this amazing site. I've edited a few scores for choirs in the past and responded to some requests on CPDL.

I have sung with many choirs in the past, currently I sing with

previous choirs:
