My name is Marc Voorhoeve (see homepage) from the Netherlands, amateur singer, baritone, born 1950. I cannot make up my mind whether to sing bass or tenor, so I do both.

I love singing, as a combination of text and music. Songs can touch the heart in ways that text or music alone cannot achieve. An example is the aria "dove sono" (Nozze di Figaro). I am intrigued by the way great composers interpret texts and try to make translations that match their melodies.
