English text
- Upon this lovely Christmas morning,
- We come forth our friends to cheer.
- In the East, the star is beaming;
- Lo! We've found our Saviour near.
- Oh we love to spread the tidings,
- That will gladden every heart,
- That with him we may be rising,
- In his suffering we have a part.
- Hark! I hear the angles singing,
- Peace! Peace on earth, good will to all.
