Description: A setting of a text from Genesis Chapter 37 rarely set to polyphony, in which Joseph's brothers present their father Jacob with Joseph's blood-stained cloak, implying that Joseph has been killed by a wild animal. Published by Susato, Antwerp. The original clefs were C1, C3, C4, C4, F4. :Motet for 5 voices by Clemens non Papa, recounting the incident in Genesis Chapter 37 in which Jacob is confronted with the apparent death of his favourite son.
