French text Tiens noz deulx cueurs par ung voloir unis, O Cupido, qui tes subiectz contente, conforte les en ceste longue'attente, car assez sont par absence punis. Modern French Tiens nos deux coeurs unis par ta volonté, O Cupidon, (toi) qui contente tes sujets, (ré-)conforte les en cette longue attente car ils sont déjà assez punis par l’absence.

English translation Keep both our hearts united by thy divine will, o Cupid who satisfies your subjects, comfort them during this long wait since absence has already punished them enough.
