English text
Two children of this aged stream are we,
And we our sea-green locks have combed for ye.
Come! bathe with us an hour or two;
Unarm èd come, for we are so,
Come, come with us and share
The pleasures that the floods prepare.
We'll beat the waters till they bound
and circle round.
