English text
This Holy Hour, so sweet to me,
Is fraught with blessings manifold.
On bended knee I dream and seem to see
Ma Saviour's face, His smile behold.
With hands outstretch'd my eyes I raise
To Him whose death the world redeemed,
My voice breaks out in glorious praise,
His kind eyes beam!
O wondrous Saviour, precious Friend,
Who brought our souls at such a cost,
I hail Thee now, and to the last glad end
I'll bear the cross, Thy Cross!
