This template ("csc" stands for "Cap-small caps") accepts a string, converts the first character to upper case and the remaining characters to lower case small caps.

For example, {{csc|loUSiAna}} produces: Lousiana

More useful applications might be for specifying hymn tunes in a uniform manner, such as

{{csc|DOWN}} {{csc|ampney}} yielding: Down Ampney
