• Benedictus (CPDL #9574):
  • bar 36.3 - T is b flat in CV 40.651

Comparison with New Novello Choral Edition

Differences mostly as above, plus:

• Credo (CPDL #9572):
  • bars 24-28, A: Words and rhythm differ ("Credo in unum Dominum" rather than "Et in unum Dominum Jesum Christum").
  • bar 74, T: notes on "Genitum" are D D D, not F F F
  • bar 75, A: alto entry is a beat later than given (E♮ "non" is last beat of the bar, not second beat)
  • bar 92, S/T/B: "omnia" is notated as three separate notes (dotted crotchet, quaver, crotchet).
  • bar 98, S: F on "ho-" of "homines", not E♭.
  • bars 101-102, A: B♭ should be tied across barline.
  • bars 183-186, T: notes are F F F F not D D D D
  • bars 183-186, B: notes are D D D D not F F F F

  • bar 2, T: second minim of bar is B, not D
  • bar 52, A: first minim of bar is A, not G
  • bar 70, T: first minim of bar is high G, not D
  • bars 77-78, T & B: tenor and bass notes reversed; tenors on D, basses on C♮
  • bar 93, T: first note is A, not F♯
  • bar 98, all parts: final note is a crotchet, not a minim

• Benedictus (CPDL #9574):
  • bar 36, T: third note ("no-" of "nomine") is a B♭, not an A♭
  • bar 47, A: G♯ should be tied (not slurred) across the barline
  • bar 76, B: G is an octave higher (same as last note of bar 75)
  • bar 88, B: last D of the bar is an octave higher
  • bar 99, T: first note should be F♮, not F♯
