Es wäre schön, wenn jemand in der Lage wäre das aufzuklären. Sind das zwei verschiedene Komponisten? Joseph Gruber (1857-1944) oder Josef Gruber (1855-1933). Auf den Notenausgaben steht immer Josef - mit f. Cpdl nennt Joseph - mit ph. Der Link zu Wikipedia führt ins nichts, Wikipedia kennt nur den Josef mit f. - Karl Rathgeber (talk)

I agree with this question about the real name of Composer Gruber, who is born in 18 April 1855 and died in 2 December 1933 as Austrian Composer and Organist, and his name on the many edited scores commonly is Josef with "f" at the end and not Joseph, as it is indicated on CPDL. One person can't be with double date of birth and death. So I consider that Joseph Gruber, born 8 August 1857 and died 13 April 1944, is different person and must be replaced with Josef Gruber.
