rather not use this image of 'unknown painter' (Rembrandt), which 19the Century romantic souls identified as Heinrich Schütz.. taking their beautiful dream for reality Better take the image of the WIKIPEDIA article.. --Wursten 09:58, 21 December 2005 (PST)

Idealised portrait

I agree... the Rembrandt is an idealised Schütz as opposed to the more austere, verified portraits.

Note with the latest fiddling, 5 works in the Geistliche Chor-Musik (opus 11) are duplicated by existing works in the CPDL catalogue, so they are currently mentioned at the head of the page as well as at the full opus 11 listing. These sets of 5 works need to be reconciled, but I'm too tired to do any more tonight. --Pml 07:52:16, 2006-04-26 (PDT)
